Days
An exciting itinerary to experience the beauty of the real Africa through a safari in the Northern Parks in Tanzania and a tour of the South Western Parks in Uganda.
With Safari Adventure you will be immersed in the African wilderness, see wild animals up close and take photos of the stunning vistas of Tanzania and Uganda.
A tour where you will see savannah wildlife, primates and ancient tribes up close, experience the thrill of jeep and water safaris, and experience nature to the fullest with forest treks.
So are you ready to go?
Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro (or Arusha) Airport, our staff will welcome you and take you to your lodge in Arusha.
Should you have the time, energy and desire, you can take a tour of the city in the company of a guide. Alternatively, you can unwind at the hotel.
Dinner and overnight stay at the Planet Lodge (or similar category).

After breakfast, you will visit Tarangire National Park.
Here, the swaying sylvan savannah, dotted with majestic baobabs, many of which are over 2,000 years old, is home to the largest elephant population in northern Tanzania.
During the late dry season, the park is home to the highest density of wildlife on the entire continent, and animal observation is absolutely amazing.
Depart for the park early in the morning.
Lunch in picnic area in the park.
In the afternoon transfer to Mto Wa Mbu and arrival at the lodge by h. 18:00.
(Tarangire – Karatu transfer: about 1 hour and 30 minutes, by road)
Dinner and overnight stay at Farm of Dreams Lodge (or similar category).

After breakfast, you will visit the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, one of the world’s most famous safari spots, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1978 and an International Biosphere Reserve in 1981.
You will enter inside the Ngorongoro Crater, which is 2,200 meters above sea level and is the largest uninterrupted caldera in existence in the world and one of the natural wonders of Africa with the presence of some 30,000 large mammals resident year-round, such as buffalo, lions, elephants, cheetahs and rhinos, and many varieties of birds, such as flamingos, eagles, buzzards, ostriches and hawks.
Il permesso per i fotosafari all’interno del Cratere ha una validità max di 6 ore.
Depart for the park early in the morning. Lunch in the park.

(NCA – Serengeti transfer: about 3 hours, on dirt path)
Dinner and overnight stay at Serengeti Heritage Luxury Tented Camp (or similar category).

After breakfast, you will visit Serengeti National Park, the extraordinary place where legend meets reality, represents the oldest and largest park in Tanzania, covering an area of 14,763 square kilometers, so much so that the name, of Maasai origin, Siringet, means “Boundless Plain.”
Boundless plains await you, along with the great migration of herbivores, especially wildebeests and zebras, prides of lions, and other predators such as hyenas, cheetahs, leopards, jackals, crocodiles…

Lunch in picnic area in the park.
Return to tented camp by h. 18:00.
Dinner and overnight stay at Serengeti Thorn Tree Tented Camp (or similar category).

After breakfast, you will continue your discovery of the extraordinary Serengeti National Park.
The endless grasslands are occasionally interrupted by bizarre granite formations, the kopjes, where large predators such as lions like to lie down or hide waiting for possible prey to pass by.
You can see crocodiles, hippos and many other water animals along the rivers, including leopards that often bask in the branches of the umbrella acacias present here.
Depart for the park early in the morning. Lunch in equipped area in the park.
After lunch, the photo safari continues along the road to NCA, and then continue the transfer to Karatu. Arrive at the lodge by h. 18:00
(Serengeti – Karatu transfer: about 3 hours and 30 minutes, on dirt track and road)
Dinner and overnight stay at Marera Valley Lodge (or similar category).

After breakfast, you will visit Lake Eyasi, which lies southeast of the Ngorongoro Highlands.
The surrounding region is home to a human group of extreme interest: they are the Hadzabe bushmen, the last heirs of a civilization unfamiliar with agriculture, livestock raising, pottery and metallurgy, the homines sapientes, who took their first steps some 200,000 years ago right here along the Rift Valley.
They live by hunting with bow and arrows and from the collection of berries and spontaneous fruits.
Their lifestyle has remained unchanged for millennia; they live in small wandering groups of about 20 individuals. Meeting them is definitely an interesting experience.
It is possible to organize an early morning hunting trip with them and experience an archaic way of life for a few hours.
It is a real experience, not a phony or a staged one for tourism purposes.
Also living in the region are the Datoga, polygamous herders originally from the Horn of Africa who came to this region following herds in search of pasture.
You will visit the village and blacksmith’s workshop, which uses ancient techniques to produce everyday objects, jewelry and arrowheads for the nearby Hadzabe, who repay him with animal skins and wild honey.
A very small proportion of travelers on safari in Tanzania visit this region, but those who do come back enthusiastic.
Depart for the park early in the morning.
Characteristic lunch at Mto wa mbu.
In the afternoon, opportunity to take a walk to Mto Wa mbu, accompanied by the guide, or a bicycle ride through the village and plantations (extra charge).
Transfer to Arusha.
Dinner and overnight stay at Ilboru Safari Lodge (or similar category).

Early in the morning, after saying goodbye to Tanzania and all its beauty, we will accompany you to the airport, where, via an internal flight, you will reach Uganda to continue this exciting discovery of Africa.
FLIGHT KILIMANJARO – ENTEBBE (about 2 hours)
Upon arrival at Entebbe Airport, our staff will welcome you to take you to Queen Elizabeth National Park, a site straddling the equator in western Uganda.
Packed lunch during the transfer and photo safari in the park until arrival at the lodge.
This park, established in 1954, is built around the Kazinga Canal that joins Lakes George and Edward and is named after Queen Elizabeth II of the United Kingdom.
The park is characterized by diverse habitats: savanna, swamps, rainforest, the lake basins of Lake Edward and Kazinga Channel, and volcanic craters, some of which form volcanic lakes such as Katwe.
A huge number of animals live here, about 95 species of mammals, including: hippos, Nile crocodiles, lions, elephants, leopards, buffaloes and several species of primates. We also find an extraordinary concentration of birds, about 600 species, including pink flamingos in the lake areas.
In the southern part of the park called “Ishasha” we can also see lions in the trees, where they spend their days between hunts.
Dinner and overnight stay at the Bush Lodge within the Queen Elizabeth N.P. (or similar category).

After breakfast, we will continue our discovery of this amazing park, with some very fascinating activities.
In the morning, accompanied by a ranger, we will make a trek in search of chimpanzees in the Kyambura Gorge, a rift where the river of the same name flows and then flows into the Kazinga Channel. Here is a forest with rich and varied vegetation, different from the others we will visit. The experience is exciting and very atmospheric, immersed in African nature it is possible to see chimpanzees, but also other animals such as hippos, colobus and different types of birds.
Packed lunch.
After lunch we will take a water safari, a small boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel, a place rich in wildlife. We will be able to observe in safety and relaxation many animals that live or come to water here, such as hippos, buffalo herds, crocodiles, elephants, antelopes and a wide variety of birds.
This activity also turns out to be really very interesting and fascinating.
Dinner and overnight stay at the Bush Lodge within the Queen Elizabeth N.P. (or similar category).

After breakfast, we head to the southern part of the park, passing through Maramagambo Forest.
We visit the Ishasha area in search of the wildlife that resides here and in particular the “climbing lions,” lions that have a special habit of climbing fig trees, trees that branch a few meters high, above which they like to lie for hours. You can observe this particular characteristic of lions only in this area or in Lake Manyara National Park in Tanzania.
Packed lunch will be served at the park.
Next, we continue our transfer to Ruhja in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park, where an overnight stay is planned.
Dinner and overnight stay at Broadbill Forest Camp Ruhija within Bwindi N.P. (or similar category).

Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park has extraordinary biodiversity, with the presence of important populations of endangered species, particularly Mountain Gorillas (about half of the world’s population of this species resides here), and was therefore declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1994.
Its territory, occupied mostly by tropical forest and jungle, is largely accessible only on foot.
After a sunrise breakfast and a short briefing with the rangers, in groups of up to 8 people we will begin a fairly challenging trek into the forest in search of mountain gorillas. The trek always varies depending on the positioning of the gorilla families, but as a rule, from the first sighting, you will be with these amazing animals for an hour. Meeting the gorillas up close and observing them in their natural habitat is an indescribable and unforgettable thrill and totally repays the efforts made to reach them (at least two liters of water, hiking shoes and a k-way must be carried during the trek).
Around 1 p.m. we will return from the trek. Packed lunch.
Next, transfer to the small town of Kisoro, located near the park that we will visit the following day.
Dinner and overnight stay at Mucha Hotel in Kisoro (or similar category).

After breakfast at dawn, we move to Mgahinga National Park.
This park is located in the southwestern part of Uganda, bordering Volcanoes National Park (Rwanda) and Virunga Park (DRC). It features breathtaking views of the peaks of Volcanoes National Park. The park area includes three of the eight Volcanoes in the Virunga range: the Muhavura, Sabinyo and Gahinga, from which the park takes its name.
We will take a nice 3/4-hour trek at an altitude of about 2,500 meters to discover the golden monkeys.
These beautiful, brightly colored primates are little known and endemic to the area, living in bamboo trees and considered endangered.
Two gorilla families are also present in this park and can be observed.
After the trek, pack lunch and transfer to Lake Bunyonyi, a large swimming lake characterized by the presence of 29 islands.
Dinner and overnight stay at Lake Bunyonyi Eco Resort Kabale (or similar category).

After breakfast, we will return to Entebbe, to leave this country that has given us multiple emotions, with landscapes and experiences that will remain etched within us.
Flight to be scheduled after h. 5:00 p.m. or the following day (in case an additional night needs to be added).

Amazing private tour with excellent guide Hasheem What an amazing 9 day safari from start to finish. We met at the airport by their driver and driven to our first lodge in Arusha. In the morning we met our fabulous English speaking guide, the lovely gentleman Hasheem! What a guide, what a place, what wonderful places to stay, what sights, what animals, what amazing experiences! Our whole trip was exceptional. Honestly not one negative. Our safari experience definitely exceeded our expectations. Saw all the African big 5, our guide knew where to look how???🤔 Sleeping in the tented camp in Serengeti was an experience in itself. Listening to the animals through the night, and seeing them in the evening and morning . . Wonderful! We would so recommend this company for its attention to detail, great communication through the booking process.Posted on Tripadvisor![]()

Incredible 5 day private safari for honeymoon We had the most incredible 5-day private safari with Safari Avventura and honestly couldn’t recommend them highly enough. We visited Lake Manyara, the Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater and Tarangire, and it was the perfect honeymoon experience. From the very beginning, everything was so well organised, including airport pick-up and drop-off, which made the whole trip completely stress-free. Being a private safari also meant everything could be personalised around what we wanted, and Safari Avventura went above and beyond to make the experience special for us. Our guide, Ahmed, was absolutely fantastic. His knowledge was incredible — not only of the wildlife and where to find the animals, but also of the parks and Tanzania itself. He was kind, funny, polite and an excellent, safe driver. We felt completely comfortable with him and loved spending our days exploring together. Everything ran so smoothly, Ahmed was always on time, and the lunches were really good too. The little personalised touches made it feel like the safari was truly designed around us rather than just being a standard itinerary. We saw so many incredible animals and had experiences we will remember for the rest of our lives. Safari Avventura made our honeymoon truly unforgettable. A huge thank you to Ahmed and the whole Safari Avventura team for giving us the most amazing safari and the perfect honeymoon. ❤️🦁🐘 We would 100% recommend Safari Avventura to anyone looking for a private, personalised safari in Tanzania!Posted on Tripadvisor![]()

Amazing holiday We are not used to write reviews, but this time we cannot refrain from posting one! The tour organized by Safari Avventura was great, Tanzania and national parks such as Serengeti, Tarangire and Ngorongoro are absolutely unique in the world, and don't need presentations. Still we want to highlight the outstanding services offered by Safari Avventura: everything worked out perfectly and smoothly, our driver was perfectly professional, effective and speaked a very good italian, Christian managed all conditions and drove us alwsys closest to wildlife. Even the smallest event was smoothed out, in continuous contact with headoffice till the last moment. We are very grateful to Safari Avventura for this amazing trip!Posted on Tripadvisor![]()

7 days safari through Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro crater We had an amazing experience with Safari Avventura and would absolutely recommend them to anyone planning a trip to Tanzania. We were four people and our itinerary included six days of safari, from August 21st to 26th, followed by a day dedicated to visiting the Hadzabe and Datoga communities. Safari Avventura assigned us Valerio as our guide and Vincent as our driver, and we honestly could not have asked for a better team. Vincent was a fantastic driver: always punctual, calm, careful and extremely professional. Some of the roads during the safari can be very challenging, but he always made us feel completely safe and relaxed, even in the most difficult situations. Valerio was an excellent guide: knowledgeable, attentive and always available to give us useful advice and explanations throughout the trip. He really helped us make the most of every day and was always willing to go the extra mile to give us the best possible experience. Thanks to Valerio and Vincent, during the safari we were able to see everything we could have hoped for, including the Big Five, an incredible variety of wildlife and even an unforgettable cheetah hunting scene. The visit to the Hadzabe and Datoga communities was another highlight of the trip. It felt incredibly authentic and far from a typical tourist experience. The time spent with the Hadzabe was particularly powerful: we had the opportunity to accompany them during a real hunting outing and experience, even for a short time, a glimpse of what their everyday life is actually like. It was a very intense and memorable experience. We were also very interested in visiting a Maasai community, although this was not originally included in the itinerary we had arranged with Safari Avventura. Valerio understood how much we wanted to experience it and managed to make it possible for us during the trip. We really appreciated his flexibility and willingness to do something extra to make our journey even more special. Beyond their professionalism, both Valerio and Vincent were kind, friendly and a real pleasure to spend so many days with. A huge thank you to Safari Avventura for organizing such a wonderful and varied experience, and especially for assigning us Valerio and Vincent. They truly made our trip to Tanzania special and unforgettable.Posted on Tripadvisor![]()

A wonderful adventure for our honeymoon! We chose Safari Avventura for a 12-day private tour in Tanzania, which included both Safari around the main parks and other activities such as visiting isolated tribes, exploring villages and trekking in nature. The trip was very well organised, and while planning it our preferences were taken into account as well as useful advice was provided. Due to a last-minute change to our flight, we landed at Kilimanjaro airport in advance and the agency was able to reschedule our pick up despite the short notice. The itinerary was very well planned in order to optimise time and transfers from one place to the other. All the lodges where we stayed were stunning and comfortable, with all amenities (hairdryer not often available though) and high hygiene standards. Staff was always very welcoming and kind, breakfast and dinner buffets were rich and delicious offering a wide range of local food. The cars we travelled with were comfortable, well maintained and cleaned daily. Water and soft drinks were provided by the agency daily. A special mentioning goes to the guides who accompanied us through this wonderful adventure. Clement is a very knowledgeable and funny guy. He speaks fluent Italian, English and French. With his accurate information on Tanzania’s wildlife, jokes and contagious laugh he entertained us during the many hours in the car. By sharing details of his personal life, he gave us an authentic picture of life in Tanzania. Timoth is a well experienced English speaking guide and driver, he is extremely professional. He drove us safely and as comfortably as possible on any kind of roads. When a minor issue occurred to our car, he quickly recognised and addressed it. Emmanuel is a very enthusiastic and kind guide and driver, he always welcomed us with a smile. He is knowledgeable and speaks good Italian, he drives very well and took great care of us. Time spent with him was very enjoyable. They all showed profound love of their country, its wildlife and nature, which they treat with great care and respect. On some of our daily adventures, additional local guides were present to show us their own territories and culture. They were all welcoming, professional and spoke English fluently. Thank you Safari Avventura for such a great adventure. We couldn’t have imagined anything more special for our honeymoon!Posted on Tripadvisor![]()

9 Unforgettable Days in the Heart of Tanzania The experience with Safari Avventura was amazing. We spent 9 unforgettable days on a very well-organised trip, combining 6 days of safari in Tarangire, Northern Serengeti, Central Serengeti and Ngorongoro with a wonderful visit to Lake Natron and a trek to some beautiful waterfalls. We also spent one day visiting two local tribes and learning about their traditions and way of life, and another day discovering rice cultivation, banana plantations and local food. A special thanks goes to our Italian-speaking guide, Clement, and our driver, Timoth. We truly felt at home with them. Clement is a wonderful person: very friendly, professional and extremely knowledgeable. He speaks very good Italian and English and made every part of the safari interesting and enjoyable. Timoth was always extremely focused on driving and knew the roads perfectly. We always felt safe and comfortable with him, even during the longest and most challenging drives. Both of them took great care of us throughout the entire journey. We will really miss them and would highly recommend them to both Italian- and English-speaking travellers. Thank you, Safari Avventura, for making our honeymoon such a wonderful journey through Tanzania. We will never forget it. Hakuna Matata! Hakuna Matata!Posted on Tripadvisor![]()

Amazing Safari and Zanzibar Experience! We spent 4 days on safari in Tanzania: 1 day in Tarangire, 2 days in the Serengeti, and 1 day in Ngorongoro. It was a truly unforgettable experience, perfectly organized from start to finish. The lodges were excellent, comfortable, and well located. A special thanks to our guide Christian, who was fantastic: he spoke very good Italian, was always helpful and friendly, and was extremely knowledgeable. His experience and explanations made our safari enjoyable and interesting. The organization was excellent, from transfers to accommodation, and everything went smoothly. We then ended our trip with a stay in Zanzibar, where we stayed at another excellent property, perfect for relaxing after the safari adventure. A wonderful, exciting, and very well-organized trip that we would definitely recommend. A 5-star experience!
