The prices of a safari in Uganda
The cost of a tour in beautiful Uganda depends on many factors. The budget can vary depending on: the days of the tour, the extra activities, the time of year you choose to go, and the parks you want to visit. The average daily cost is about 250 €, in which are included the overnight stay in the lodges/hotels, entrances to the parks, private use of the Jeep, snacks during the trip and the professional guide, in our case fluent in Italian.

What to see and do on a trip to Uganda
What you will get to see on a safari in these magical lands are its wonderful parks and landscapes of majestic vegetation. Among the most sought-after destinations are:
Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park
Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is one of Uganda’s most beautiful parks, a tourist destination that attracts large numbers of safari lovers every year. The name comes from the fact that many areas of the park are unreachable except on foot, and its most famous feature is that it is home to many endangered species, including mountain gorillas.
The best times to visit are June to August and December to February.
Mgahinga Gorilla National Park
Mgahinga Gorilla National Park is one of Uganda’s southwestern parks in which as many as eight volcanoes are located. This park, along with Bwindi, is the only one that is home to mountain gorillas, although they are hardly visible here.
Murchison Falls National Park
Murchison Falls National Park is the park with the largest area in Uganda and is named after the Murchison Falls of the same name. What makes it one of the most interesting destinations is the presence of diverse habitats and ecosystems, as well as the wonderful spectacle of the waterfalls, which are as high as 45 meters, and a very rich fauna.
The best time to visit is in January.
The Queen Elizabeth National Park
You cannot embark on a safari in Uganda without experiencing the exploration of Queen Elizabeth National Park, known for its great variety and quantity of animals and, above all, for being the home of chimpanzees. Just think, the park can also be admired aboard a boat that crosses the natural channel known as the Kazinga Canal. You can also visit the beautiful Kyambura Gorge, where you can embark on a leisurely trek.
The best time to visit is from June to September to January to February.
Lake Bunyonyi
Also not to be missed on a tour is Lake Bunyonyi, a spectacular and curious place to say the least, within which there are as many as 29 islets. If you are interested in birdwatching, this is a destination you cannot afford to miss.
The best time to visit is from June to September to January to February.

A huge thank you to our guide Calvin (“the great Calvin” 😁 because there are two of them in the agency!) who was simply great: super nice, passionate, speaking perfectly French, and ungluable on animals. Thanks to him, we could observe everything we dreamed of seeing – lions, elephants, leopards, cheetahs, rhinos, buffaloes and many more!Special mention also for the food, always hot, varied and cooked every day, much nicer than the classic lunch box offered by most other companies. The organization was perfect; we arrived from Nairobi, we landed in the evening at 21 and waiting for us were two guys from the very kind tour operator who took us to the hotel in Arusha. The facilities are all wonderful, from lodges to tented camps: it would be really hard to say which was the most beautiful, all Top. Our guide Lamek was fantastic, always ready for our every need, competent and nice. We made the parks of Ngoro Ngoro, Serengheti and Tarangire, all beautiful.
