Day 2

Ngorongoro and its beautiful Crater

After breakfast, we will visit the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, one of the most famous safari destinations in the world, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1978 and an International Biosphere Reserve in 1981.

The Ngorongoro crater (permits for game drives inside the crater are valid for up to 6 hours) is the center of attraction. Located at 2,200 meters above sea level, it is the largest uninterrupted caldera in the world, and one of Africa’s natural wonders, hosting about 30000 large mammals all year round, such as buffaloes, lions, elephants, cheetahs and rhinoceroses, as well as several bird species: flamingos, eagles, buzzards, ostriches and hawks.

The crater’s center is occupied by the shallow waters of Lake Magadi, which tends to dry up during the dry season, and is the best place from which to observe flocks of flamingos and crowned cranes, as well as several herbivores, especially the large number of wildebeests and zebras who drink here, attracting lions and hyenas.

We leave for the park early in the morning and return to the camp at about 18:00. 18:00.

Packed lunch will be served at the park.

Dinner and overnight accommodation at the Campo Tendato in Seronera.

Cratere Ngorongoro

Day 3

Serengeti National Park

We will visit the Serengeti National Park after breakfast, the extraordinary place where legend meets reality. It is the oldest and largest park in Tanzania, covering an area of 14,763 square kilometres, so much so that its name of Masai origin – Siringet, means “Plain without borders”.

Boundless plains await you, along with the great migration of herbivores, especially wildebeests and zebras, prides of lions, and other predators such as hyenas, cheetahs, leopards, jackals, crocodiles…

We will leave for the park early in the morning and return to the camp by 18:00. 18:00.

Packed lunch will be served at the park.

Dinner and overnight accommodation at the Campo Tendato in Seronera.

Serengeti Park

Day 4

The Serengeti National Park and its splendid Tanzanian fauna

We continue our discovery of the magnificent Serengeti National Park after breakfast.

The boundless prairies are occasionally interrupted by unusual granite formations – kopjes, in whose cracks small pools of rainwater often form, attracting many small animals, as well as large predators such as lions who like to lay or hide in them, waiting for a possible prey to pass through.

The river is lined with many circuits where crocodiles, hippos and many other animals can be seen coming to water. You can also see the leopards that often bask in the branches of the umbrella acacia present here.

We will set off early in the morning for the park and return to the lodge by 18:00. 18:00.

Packed lunch will be served at the park.

We then proceed to Lake Natron in the afternoon.

Dinner and overnight accommodation at the lodge at Lake Natron.

cuccioli leoni Serengeti

Day 5

Manyara Park and Flight to Zanzibar

The safari continues after breakfast with a tour of Lake Manyara National Park, one of Tanzania’s most biodiverse parks.
Covering an area of only 330 square kilometres, 230 of which are occupied by the lake, it is possible to encounter up to five different ecosystems here.
The park is inhabited by over 380 types of birds and a large number of animal species such as elephants, buffaloes, zebras, giraffes, leopards, lions, baboons, hippos, antelopes, warthogs and many others.
We head for the park early in the morning.
Packed lunch will be served in the park.
We will accompany you to the airport in the afternoon to continue your tour in the island of Zanzibar.
Domestic flight Arusha → Zanzibar

Day 6-12

Zanzibar and the Mwezi Boutique Resort

This beautiful, well-kept resort directly overlooks one of the most beautiful beaches in Zanzibar – the charming golden sand beach. Bordered by palm trees, Jambiani is a place where you can leave your shoes behind.

Previously a remote touristic destination, this 7 km long sand strip is now a genuine and peaceful place where you can enjoy Zanzibar in all its intensity.

Environmentally friendly, use of recycled materials, interior design, modern African art and hospitality: these are the basic concepts on which the Mwezi Boutique Resort is built.

Its strength lies in the beauty of the place – unspoilt, almost wild, combined with the new idea for a resort in Zanzibar: to fuse the ancient Swahili construction technique using red earth and wood, with the characteristic makuti roofs, with a modern and exclusive taste, providing charm and unique character.

The Mwezi Boutique Resort is perfectly integrated and in harmony with the natural environment, surrounded by lush and fragrant vegetation.

You will find a panoramic restaurant in the resort with a menu featuring mainly fresh 0 km products, a swimming pool perfectly integrated into the natural landscape, a small shop where you can buy art and furnishings, trivia items and gift ideas created by Onlus Tanzaniane.

Private Safari 1 week as a couple We had a great week of safari in Tanzania thanks to Safari Avventura and especially thanks to Calvin (the great) our guide:)! He was very competent and we could see many animals thanks to him: leopard, cheetah, lion, elephant, zebras, giraffes and so on! He spoke French perfectly well (we asked for a French-speaking guide). The safari was very well organized, the hot lunches were very good and the accommodations pleased us all, special mention for Serengeti Queens in the heart of Serengeti. In short you can trust Safari Avventura to organize your safari!

7 days of romantic safari We had an amazing week with Safari Avventura! 1 week of private safari in love between Lake Manyara, Tarangire, Serengeti and the crater of Ngorongoro, each stage was breathtaking. A huge thank you to our guide Calvin (“the great Calvin” 😁 because there are two of them in the agency!) who was simply great: super nice, passionate, speaking perfectly French, and ungluable on animals. Thanks to him, we could observe everything we dreamed of seeing – lions, elephants, leopards, cheetahs, rhinos, buffaloes and many more!Special mention also for the food, always hot, varied and cooked every day, much nicer than the classic lunch box offered by most other companies. The accommodations were all comfortable, and Serengeti Queens Camp was our favorite! Many thanks to the whole team, we recommend Safari Avventura with your eyes closed!

A dream safari In February with my husband we did 6 days of private safari with Safari Adventure and it was all great. The organization was perfect; we arrived from Nairobi, we landed in the evening at 21 and waiting for us were two guys from the very kind tour operator who took us to the hotel in Arusha. The facilities are all wonderful, from lodges to tented camps: it would be really hard to say which was the most beautiful, all Top. Our guide Lamek was fantastic, always ready for our every need, competent and nice. We made the parks of Ngoro Ngoro, Serengheti and Tarangire, all beautiful. Beautiful also the excursion to the village of Hadzebe that I absolutely recommend. I hope to return to Tanzania soon, and for sure it will be with Safari Adventure.
